A Sweet Spot, Canalside Homes for Sale

One of my friends cruised past New Mills this week and took some photos of Corn Hill Court, a row of three bedroom properties which has just gone on the market. They're almost directly opposite the Swizzels factory, so if you have a bit of a nostalgic yearning for that sugary smell, this might be the sweet spot for you!

And here's the Swizzels factory opposite. Not exactly picturesque, but certainly a genuine example of canalside industry. We do wonder whether there might be some noise nuisance, but surely it's wouldn't be as bad as an engineering works? What do you think? Have you ever walked this towpath or moored nearby?
