Canalside Homes for Sale from £301k to 500k

Hello again! This weekend we are continuing with the next price bracket, from £301k to 500k. In that range there currently are about 1680 properties with the word 'canal' in their details, (and it's a quiet time of the year, too!) It's part of my job to go through them all - yes, every single one. Today I've found 99 properties which actually overlook the canal or have a mooring.

If you search for 'mooring' on Rightmove, it thinks that you have made a spelling mistake, and helpfully includes listings with the word 'moor' in them. There are about 344 settlements in the UK containing 'moor', so you can imagine how many results will have nothing to do with canals. And then of course there are all the rivers and coastal marinas with moorings to filter out!

So there is no easy way to find canalside property in the UK, unless of course, you have found your way here...
