Fergus Crown was an Eyemouth shipbuilder at the beginning of the 19th century. His name is printed in the newspapers of the time as both Crown and Craven.
In 1801 he advertised a ship for sale.
For sale at Eymouth [sic], a new vessel
Edinburgh Advertiser, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, May 1st 1801
Smack built, of the following dimensions, viz. length of keel 47 feet, breadth framed 18½, depth of hold, clear, 19½, will measure about 80 tons register, and can be launched in the course of six weeks. Apply to Fergus Crown, ship-builder, Eymouth, or William Hunter and Son, Leith. Leith, May 1st 1801.
An unnamed ship was advertised for sale in 1803
This may have been the ill-fated sloop Lady Endergally.

To be SOLD by private Contract, A New SLOOP of about 3½ Keels Burthen, ready to be launched Eymouth, near Berwick upon Tweed. Apply to William Row, Newcastle; Fergus Craven [sic] Eymouth. October 20 1803.
In 1805, Fergus advertised two unnamed ships for sale, both still on the stocks.

On Friday the 7th Day of June instant, at the house of Mr Alex Todd, Vintner, in Eyemouth near Berwick Upon Tweed, at 2 o’clock in the Afternoon.
A NEW VESSEL, ready to launch, of about 70 Tons Burthen per Register Admeasurement. She is built of the belt English Oak Timber, is of an easy Draught of Water, and well adapted for either the Baltic or Coasting Trade.
Likewise a SMALL VESSEL, of about 50 Tons per Admeasurement, which will be nearly ready at that time. She it very well adapted for the Canal or Coasting Trade.
The purchasers may be supplied with Masts, Blocks, Pumps, Boats, and other Materials, for fitting them out.
For further Particulars apply to Fergus Crown, Ship-builder, Eyemouth, who will treat by private Bargain; and if sold before the above day, Notice will given.

- In 1812 Fergus put a sloop up for sale, named Fame, weighing 54 tons.
